Miles Jones

Miles Jones (Born 17 December 1987) is an English-Barbadian international footballer currently playing for Hayes & Yeading United F.C. in the Conference South.

Career

Miles Jones started his career at Brentford F.C. as a youth player and was there for 5 years being released for injury problems at the age of 16, went on to sign for Woking F.C. in the Conference National in 2004 playing in the youth and the reserves and then towards the end of the season making his first appearance at the tender age of 16 against Stevenage Borough F.C., Jones went on to make 4 more appearances for Woking F.C. first team.

In 2006 Jones left Woking F.C. to join Hayes F.C. who play in the Conference South Where he announced his arrival with an excellent solo goal against Watford F.C. during pre-season. Jones went on to make 6 appearances before going on loan to Corinthian Casuals F.C. due to limited first team chances, Jones's first game for Casuals against Dartford FC he received the man of the match, He went on to play another 10 games for Corinthian Casuals F.C. Jones didn't go on to make anymore games for Hayes F.C. that season.

Jones Signed for Hayes & Yeading United F.C. in August 2007, he made his Debut on Saturday 15 September Against Welling United F.C. receiving the man of the match award.

In September 2007 Jones earned a call up to Barbados under-23 squad to play in the Olympics qualifiers taking place in Aruba between the 7th and 14th of September, Jones scored on his debut against Aruba and went on to play against Jamaica and Antigua and Barbuda. Jones has been selected to play in the Barbados national team for the 2008 Concacaf World Cup qualifiers.
