[edit] Virgin Blue
Mildura Airport was one of the more than 21 destinations looked at by Virgin Blue as a potential airport for its new Embraer E-Jets to land at. Mildura was the only regional Victorian destination looked at as part of its investigation for destinations. As of April 2008, Virgin Blue has not made any official announcements regarding services to Mildura. However, with the high demand for low fares between Mildura and Melbourne, Mildura could be a Virgin Blue destination by the end of 2008.
