Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden

The Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden is a small 3 ha (7 acre) botanical garden located on the south-eastern corner of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) campus, California, USA. It is named after Dr. Mildred Esther Mathias Hassler (1906-1995), a noted American botanist.

The garden is frost-free, includes about 5,000 species in 225 families, and maintains one of the most important living botanical collections in the United States, with plant specimens from all over the world, including many different species of tropical and subtropical plants.
