Mil Mi-36

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Mil Mi-36 was a light multipurpose helicopter, planned to be the answer to the Mi-2's limited military use, first projected in the early 1980's. Its projected roles were to assist in fire support and communications, cargo transportation, SAR and medevac, and aerial surveillance. It was also planned to use a twin TV-O-100 turboshaft engine, two-bladed main rotor, and a four-bladed tail rotor. Little is expected of this particular project.
