This is in response to your questions in my User_talk location. Yes, I am a Witness and a regular reader of Awake! As to my not having a user page, I've simply not chosen to give much attention to myself. I just want to see that accurate info in converyed, that's all. Glenn L (talk) 01:30, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Deluxe Bible

I believe that it is still available, but you have to make a Special Request with the Literature department at your local Kingdom Hall. Unlike the standard edition, it's not kept in stock. Glenn L (talk) 02:12, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Germany Invitation

Hello, Mikhailov Kusserow! I'd like to call your attention to the WikiProject Germany and the German-speaking Wikipedians' notice board. I hope their links, sub-projects and discussions are interesting and even helpful to you. If not, I hope that new ones will be.

[edit] Jehovah's Witnesses project

Any person is free to join any project at any time. All you would have to do is add your name to the members list, maybe add the userbox to your user page, and you're in. John Carter (talk) 19:19, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Message on your Swedish discussion page

Hi! I replied on your Swedish discussion page to your message to me almost a month ago. Please, if you want me to help you, you have to reply and tell me what to do, otherwise I cannot really do anything for you. Anyway, I wrote because I did not understand what you meant with using English. I translated the texts you named into Swedish as you requested. Did I do something wrong?

By the way, as you seem to create accounts in a lot of languages, you should really think about creating interlanguage links to link them together, like I did on my user page. --τις (talk) 13:02, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hawstom

The group that is know as Jehovah's Witnesses is not my tribe of birth or of choice.  :-) But I love them! Tom Haws (talk) 20:48, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Meta question

No, I don't think so. We are watching the external link additions on 722 wikipedia, and saw that you added a handful of new links to a handful of wikipedias. As the links have not been used by anyone else, that triggers our system. For IPs that generally means that it is spam, but here this was done by an established editor. That normally means that we can ignore, but Herythyme found that one of the sites was under development, and showed concerns. I still think all is fine, but your input to clarify this would be great. See m:Talk:Spam_blacklist#Multiple_sites_by_Mikhailov_Kusserow, I am sure that this is a mistake, and a short explanation of these links will clear the matter. Thanks already! --Dirk Beetstra T C 17:18, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi - the best thing would be if you would go to the link that Dirk has provided above & comment there. You have been placing links to eight sites across a number of wikis which does look like excessive link placement to the community there. An explanation of why you see that as relevant will allow us to review the matter. Thanks --Herby talk thyme 11:03, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Article to be deleted?

Can you please explain to me what is id.wiki and what is going to be deleted? Summer Song (talk) 15:01, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

I don't even speak the language, and I don't have an account there. Everyking (talk) 09:27, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Jehovah%27s_Witnesses_Publications
...you mean this article and in the language "id" am I right? What language is that and how to I find it. you should put the link here;
But you are right it doesn't make sense that they should leave it in English and delete it in another language. It is really lame how many people here abuse the privilage of deleting instead of taking the time to improve as it says in the 5 pillars. They are no better than vandals in my book. if it has not been deleted you should mention the that the complete article exists in the English Wikipedia.
And you should have put a link like the one above to the article as they are definately not going to have the same title GabrielVelasquez (talk) 22:22, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

I am unsure of what you want me to do. Could you please elaborate? I don't have an account over there, but I would like to help you. (Jazzmaniac (talk) 14:21, 10 June 2008 (UTC))

[edit] Canvassing

Hi! I just got your message about this article, but I think you should know that on the English Wikipedia what you're doing is considered disruptive canvassing and is discouraged. From the guideline page:

To avoid disrupting the consensus building process on Wikipedia, editors should keep the number of notifications small, keep the message text neutral, not preselect recipients according to their established opinions.

--Explodicle (talk) 12:58, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

I have to second the above motion not to beat a dead horse but only to further strengthen the truth of what Explodicle said because you did send that message to quite a few people. It's not a good idea to do that.
Peace! SWik78 (talkcontribs) 13:38, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

He is right though, you deletionists are no better than a bunch of vandals ignoring the 5 pillars principle that you should improve where you can; if the full article exists in the english version so why delete it because the editors in the other language are ignorant.
GabrielVelasquez (talk) 22:25, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

He may have a good point, but no one should disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point. You'll find that in Wikipedia:Five pillars, where there is suprisingly little mention of "improve where you can". --Explodicle (talk) 16:37, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
