[edit] Bisakol / Masbateño

Yes, Masbateño is considered a Bisakol language. Sorsoganon and Masbateño are very similar. --Chris S. 06:40, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

Hrm. Sorsoganon is what the natives sometimes call it. The terms that I use are Central Sorsogon for what is refered to as "Sorsogon, Masbate." Southern Sorsogon is "Sorsogon, Waray." These are the terms used by Bikol linguist, Jason Lobel who has done linguistic field research in Bicol in the late 1990's and early 2000's. They are outlined in his book An Satuyang Tataramon which is about the languages of Bicol. Also, I just revamped the Bikol languages page. I invite you to take a look. I am in the process of having another Wikipedian (hopefully) make a dialect map so it'll be easy to read. But you can see a rough copy of what I made at http://members.aol.com/linggwistik/private/bicoldialectmap.jpg which is based on the map Jason made at http://members.aol.com/linggwistik/private/lobeldialectmap.jpg. --Chris S. 20:39, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sonia Couling

Hello Mikenassau, I think you get the correct name for her. But right now there is no article about her in Thai WP. --Manop - TH 21:18, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

The campaign includes seeking your assistance in:

Or just anything you can do to help us just like what you are doing there at the English Wikipedia.

Thank you in advance and regards, Tagalog Wikipedia Community

Finally, Wikipedia is the 7th most visited site in the Philippines. Then why is it that the Tagalog Wikipedia, the Wikipedia in your own language remains unknown to most of the Filipinos? The mission of this campaign is to change that. Will you join us?
