Hio. As noted, WP:BIO says we have articles on those who are elected to major office, but those who run for minor office are not notable on that basis. An alternative criterion is where the individual has been the primary subject of multiple, non-trivial coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. Election coverage does not really count there, we're looking for evidence that the individual has been documented before and will be documented after a single event. Sometimes we have articles on a particular election for a major office, which will include a list of the various candidates, but I don't see this as being a likely candidate. Sorry, this happens depressingly often and it's not your fault (or indeed ours). Wikipedia is big, and the rule structure takes a bit of getting around.
