[edit] Josh Rogan

First of all, don't call me names like "douche"; if you continue to do that with other people, you may be blocked. Second, Josh Rogan was changed into a Redirect to Josh Haines, so all I did was delete the redirect. Josh Haines was then proposed for deletion by User:Tyrenius and then deleted by User:Blnguyen. If you want to argue it, discuss it at Deletion review. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 18:49, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, I thought it was vandalism, as I didn't look very closely. I have reverted my edit. --Rory096 14:51, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your comments on Suharto

Hi there. Thanks for the interest in Suharto - seriously. I've made some comments in response to yours. Please see them and reply if you can on the article talk page. Here:Talk:Haji Mohammad Suharto. Also, if you are interested in spending more time on wikipedia, it's best to create an account. regards --Merbabu 22:30, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Paris Hilton

You can certainly cut the article in half by removing all the negative stuff. Suffice to say, she is simply perfect. We are all lucky to be alive at the same time as Paris. The world would be an unhappy place without her. Wow! Wallie 20:23, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your postings on User talk:Lakeyboy

Talk pages are not the place for personal attacks or frivolous complaints. Please refrain from adding such things to talk pages, as you did on Lakeyboy's. --Evan C (Talk) 06:21, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Check the history. Lakeyboy removed your comment, not me. People are free to put whatever they please on their userpages, and userboxes are part of that - it's far from your place to question what he puts on his. I've never completed a 5000m run, and I don't really know anyone who has - it's not a minor class of race by any measure. And no, I've never met him. --Evan C (Talk) 11:36, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
You dont know anyone who has ever completed a 5km run...
I'm not the "athletic type", so whilst I probably do know a few people that might have, I really can't say I do know someone who has. The point is - it's far from 99% of people.
Do you know anyone in the world who has: <snip>
It's irrelevant. If he wants to add those userboxes to his page, what's it to you?
LakeyBOY's comments are pointless to the point of ridiculousness. <snip>
If you look at his contributions list, you'll see that he has made many significant conributions to Wikipedia, particularly relating to Melbourne's trains.
While you deny meeting LakeyBOY, there is little doubt the two of you are friends (net-buddies). <snip>
Moreso acquaintances. However, I will always jump to defend any good Wikipedian against unfair attack.
Really, what problem do you have with Lakeyboy? Is it his edits to Wikipedia? If not, this discussion has no place on Wikipedia's talk pages. By the way, please sign your posts using four tildes (~~~~), so that it is easier to get to your talk page. Thanks. --Evan C (Talk) 12:14, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Matt Tilley affair

I get the distinct feeling that you are the one acting childishly. Particularly when all of your edits seem to have been either smothering articles in [citation needed] tags, adding completely unsourced and seemingly trivial "facts", or partaking in edit wars. And you call us childish? --Evan C (Talk) 13:37, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism Warning

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Lakeyboy 13:05, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

With regards to your comments on User talk:202.164.195.56: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you.

As directed by a Wikipedia admin, I was directed to give out warnings to those who keep vandalising the pages. I hope it wasn't to get to this by putting the page under semi-protection but was denied due to only one user vandalising it. So....

This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

[edit] Have a look

I kindly suggest you take abit of your time to have a look at the new and improved Matt Tilley article. I hope you approve of the recent changes :) --Lakeyboy 10:59, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Well, I see you did have a look and it looks like 10 references is not enough. Fair enough about the married and 3 kids bit. He has said on-air he has a wife & 3 kids but no actual sources. I will find the sources for the other 2 later on today. --Lakeyboy 21:20, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
P.S, See, unlike you, I am actually working to get this article up to scratch. If you feel like it, please help me insert more information and sources. Thanks.
Lakeyboy, your immature gloating betrays the true nature of your edits.
Do we want an encyclopedia filled with the knowledge of every person in the world? I don't think so. There is a lot of crap floating around out there so we need to make sure that every man and his dog doesn't end up with a wiki page. There is a fair argument that everyone in the world has an aspect of their life which is significant in some way. Matt tilley is such an example. But beyond being a radio host, everything else in the article is rubbish. You cannot tell me that his wife, children, tertiary education, changing show name, number of tracks on his cd etc are of ANY SIGNIFICANCE AT ALL TO THE WORLD AT LARGE.
You are acting your age, unfortunately. Wikipedia may benefit from average people from all walks of life, but 16 year old train-obsessed children are surely not of sufficient level of "human normality" to qualify.

[edit] Personal Attack

"You are acting your age, unfortunately. Wikipedia may benefit from average people from all walks of life, but 16 year old train-obsessed children are surely not of sufficient level of "human normality" to qualify."

This kind of comment is not acceptable - see WP:NPA. --Evan C (Talk) 08:36, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

How was that not acceptable? I am just saying that children are not really qualified to post on wikipedia. They have little real "knowledge", and in general, the ones with obsessions (such as Lakeyboy's train and Tilley obsession) have little knowledge of the context in which their knowledge falls.
This is why Lakeyboy does not understand the global insignificance of his Matt Tilley obsession. In his child-world Lakeyboy believes that Matt Tilley is more significant than he is. This is just a product of Lakeyboy's age. He does not know enough of the world to understand that things important to him (such as Matt Tilley's children's names) are not of any encyclopedic value.
I have a dog called Leroy, he is a brown labrador and he means a lot to me. He has an important role in my life. You see, this is something I hold dear to me, but that does not justify me having a wiki page on leroy does it? Lakeyboy has taken his obsession and is using it to create wiki pages.
Matt Tilley's page has become a joke, as told by Lakeyboys infinitely immature sarcasm above. You are stooping to his schoolyard antics by backing him despite his untenable position simply for the fact you share an obsession. This is ridiculous.
--Mike121212 08:50, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Before telling people to stop acting immature maybe you should take a look in your own backyard mate. --Dan027 09:32, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Nice off-the-point comment Dan. I checked my backyard (your user page) and you are right, your lame new message joke is really immature.

i know my own sense of humour amazes me at times --Dan027 09:37, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Granted, suggesting that you would blindly dismiss a source in order to support your contention was a little rude of me, but I'd appreciate it if you did not recycle my own comments for a completely different situation. --Evan C (Talk) 12:27, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
I am now giving you a warning on personal attacks. Please stop or further action will be taken. --Lakeyboy 07:53, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
