Sonnet 3
Metallic hearts have no knowledge of love,
Yet they seem to carry on just as well.
Beauty is unknown, never spoken of
On the barren plains of robotic hell.
When found is the charm of that special girl,
Links of passion form a protective shell:
In shadows of death, rise outcomes as pearl.
Ne'er so in the plains of robotic hell.
Gentle words that can save from all that's wrong,
Quickly relieving from life's rotten spell,
Under such grace there is a lesser song,
Echoing the plains of robotic hell.
Equal in brains, but not equal in heart,
Never will machines be equally smart.
