Author's note: This is about the Final Fantasy VIII card game Triple Triad. It is my one poem in true iambic pentameter.
Sonnet 31
One day I came across a game of cards.
This game was known by all and played by all.
It ended soon, my training, oh so hard,
And when I'd done, my rivals were to fall.
The name begins with Triple for the squares
Across and down the board as three by three;
It ends with Triad for same reason, shared,
And known by start that winner would be me.
I grabbed some monster cards to play my first,
But soon did I find out the mistake made;
You see, the monster cards are far the worst.
I lost the first T.T. game that I played.
So offer this advice to you I will:
Make sure to grab the highest cards to kill.
