Born Michael Pollard 26th April 1968 in Melbourne, Australia to parents Andrew and Josephine. His first sister, Rhonda, was born the the following year in 1969. Grew up in Fitzroy and the Mount Dandenongs until the age of three. Moved to London, England in 1971, the same year the second sister, Barbara, was born in London.
