[edit] Merger Proposal
As Miklagard is another name of Istanbul Constantinople, I don't see how this is going to become more than a stub. Unless some author has a particularly large contribution to make on the importance of Viking Age Constantinople, to Norse people, I reckon that this should redirect to Constantinople, and any information on it's Nordic import be included there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by PRB (talk • contribs) 11:35, May 14, 2008 (UTC)
- It may be better to merge this into Names of Istanbul, which already has a section on Historical names in other languages mentioning Miklagard. --Lambiam 18:47, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- I agree. Thats how I got here. Names of Istanbul is the place for this. Fribbler (talk) 17:39, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- I've changed the target of the {{mergeto}} tag accordingly, and also placed a {{mergefrom}} tag on Names of Istanbul#Old Norse. --Lambiam 00:16, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
