[edit] Is Wikipedia supposed to be Canadian?
The NHL's headquarters are in New York. Players who play defense are listed as being defensemen, not defencemen, on NHL.com. Keep the "defence" on TSN and CBC.
- The consensus on Wikipedia is there is no preferred style of English, as long as its consistent within the article. There are exceptions (for example, Australian English for articles that solely deal with Australian domestic affairs), but for the international NHL, it's been agreed that whichever style was used to write the bulk of the article initially.
