What does "homoglated" mean? OK, I know what it means, but surely there is a better word to use in an article such as this.

During BBC News 24's coverage of the Atherstone on stour warehouse fire, they talked to the helicopter pilot (which is something I've never heard the BBC do before), and introduced him as Mike Smith.
