[edit] Worst Eggman Ever!

Just kidding, he's great. Long John Baldry would've been better though.

Wrong, he really is the worst Eggman ever. He make Eggman sound so cartoony. Besides, this topic has nothing to do with improving the article.

Yes, the nerve of me. Making Eggman sound cartoony! In a cartoon, no less! I think you'll find he sounds less cartoony in the games. It's all based on what the director wants. That's my job. Itsamike 20:33, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

He still sounds too cartoony for the games —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.217.128.4 (talk) 21:13, August 20, 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "Stepped in"?

Now...I unfortunately don't have anything to prove this, but at AnimeNEXT, in the panel he had with Marc Thompson and Wayne Grayson, Mike was asked by a fan about the Eggman switch and the whole voice-swap situation. He said that 4Kids TOLD him about Deem Bristow's death, and about how they were looking for a new Voice Actor. He described it as "they were really pushing for me" to do the voice, and so were the people at SEGA. He was given lots of audio of the previous Eggman/Robotnik voices in order to develoup his work on that character as best as he could. This matches up pretty well to Sonic-Cult's recent entry about this news on SEGA using the 4Kids cast, from what the rep at the NY game expo mentioned. Sadly I don't have any solid proof to show that he said this (other than I was there to hear him talk about it at the convention), and there aren't any videos on YouTube of the mentioned AnimeNEXT panel. What say you guys?

- It's true dude I read that too

Ummm, not so much. Deem Bristow was alive when Sonic X was cast. The show was being recast entirely from scratch with East Coast talent, regardless of the living status of the previous West Coast cast members. 4Kids was really pushing for me do to the voice in Sonic X as opposed to having another 4Kids pool member do it, not instead of Deem Bristow doing it. [edit] um if 4Kids goes he goes too thank god

Stop saying in every article if 4Kids goes he'll stay...NOTHING supports this and wiki isn't a speculation site. I hope he goes too if 4Kids go, he makes Eggman so damn cartoony compared to Deem Bistrow.

I guess you'd prefer Deem to come back from the dead to reprise the role then? 70.16.8.101 00:03, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

No, he's saying that if 4Kids goes, they can hire a completely different non-4Kids actor for Eggman. Such as John DiMaggio.

Uh, yeah. Best of luck with that. And please quit deleting my InfoBox. Itsamike 20:46, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

Oh quit your whining you big baby. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.244.187.97 (talk) 14:28, August 20, 2007 (UTC)

First of all, it's not a good idea to flame users like that. Talk pages are for discussing changes to the article and not for flaming others. Secondly, he does have a point. After all, almost all actors have an infobox. Why shouldn't he? --PAK Man Talk 15:39, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Don't call me a big baby! I'm not so big. Itsamike 20:21, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Go Go Parody Rangers! 2

He did the voice of the floating eyeball in Parody Rangers 2, which can be found on Newgrounds. Should we mention this on the article?

[edit] Template

I don't think there should be a template. All it's information is also in the article.
But then your argument could be that no actor should have the infobox template. Almost every actor has an infobox. I see no reason why Mike Pollock shouldn't have one. --PAK Man Talk 15:40, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Should the credits be removed (but displayed on the "edit page") seeing as how other actors (e.g. Wayne Knight) credits are only displayed in the edit pagw? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.244.187.117 (talk) 14:13, August 22, 2007 (UTC)

I find the "Notable Roles" listings in some infoboxes to be a handy feature. Why not have them in mine? Itsamike 15:13, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

If it makes you feel better, notable roles have been removed from other actor template. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.244.187.98 (talk) 16:13, August 23, 2007 (UTC)

So they have. I was wondering why I suddenly felt better. That must be it. Thanks. Itsamike 12:09, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:MikePollock.JPG

Image:MikePollock.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
