Mikko Lehtonen (born June 21, 1978 in Oulu, Finland) is a Finnish ice hockey defenceman currently playing for Kärpät of the Finnish Elite League.

. He appeared in his first National Hockey League game on October 7, 2006 with the Nashville Predators against the Minnesota Wild, and registered his first NHL goal in that game.

He was traded on February 27, 2007 to the Buffalo Sabres for a fourth-round pick in the 2007 draft.[1]
