Mikhail Zagoskin

Mikhail Nikolaevich Zagoskin (July 25, 1789 in Ramzaj–July 5, 1852 in Moscow) was a Russian writer. Author of social comedies, historical novels.
His notable works includes:
- Roslavlev, or Russians in 1812 (Russian: Roslavlyov, ili Russkie v 1812 godu)—A historical novel influenced by Walter Scott, 1831
- Moscow and Moscovites (Russian: Moskva i moskvichi)—A collection of stories, 1842–1850
