Mikhail Tugan-Baranovsky

Mikhaylo Ivanovych Tugan-Baranovsky (1865-1919) is a noted Ukrainian economist and tutor of Nikolai Kondratiev, famous Soviet economist credited with the presentation of the hypothesis of the Long waves in capitalist development.
Mikhaylo Tugan-Baranovsky was one of the founders to National Academy of Science of Ukraine, as well as Minister of Finance of the Ukrainian Peoples Republic.
