Mikhail Petrovich Krivonosov (Russian: Михаи́л Петро́вич Кривоно́сов) (May 1, 1929, KrichevNovember 11, 1995 [1]) was a Soviet athlete who competed mainly in the hammer throw.

Krivonosov graduated from the Byelorussian Institute for Physical Culture in 1953. He trained at Burevestnik in Minsk and competed internationally for the USSR throughout his career. He broke the World Record in the Hammer Throw six times between 1954 and 1956. [1] He competed in the 1956 Summer Olympics held in Melbourne, Australia in the hammer throw where he won the silver medal.
