Mike Sheppard

Mike Sheppard is the current wide receivers coach of the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League. From 1984 to 1987, he served as the head football coach at Long Beach State, where he compiled a 16-18 record through three seasons. In 1984 to 1985, he compiled back-to-back winning seasons at 6-6 and 6-5, respectively. From 1987 to 1991, he took the head coaching job at the University of New Mexico, and led the Lobos to a 9-50 record. His best season with UNM was a 3-9 season in 1991.
