Mike Sapone
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mike Sapone is a record producer, engineer, and mixer from Long Island, New York whose credits include producing records for bands such as Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, Straylight Run, and Public Enemy. In 2006 Mike co-produced the critically acclaimed "The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me" with Long Island group Brand New (Interscope Records). Sapone also refers to himself as "The Moleman" for his production work on remixes, such as the remix of the Public Enemy classic "By the Time I Get to Arizona" on the Revolverlution album (The Source Magazine calls Sapone's remix, "By far the best on the LP"), and his remix of Brand New's song "Soco Amaretto Lime" released on their Sic Transit Gloria... Glory Fades single. During his work on Brand New's debut album, Your Favorite Weapon, Sapone served as a fifth member of the band.
