Mike Ransom
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mike Ransom (born 1977), is an American musician, and the former guitarist for the five-piece metal band Adema from Bakersfield, California, which was led by Mark Chavez. They enjoyed moderate success during the "Nu Metal era" with their gold selling debut album, Adema.
[edit] Leaving Adema
Ransom left the band not long after the release of their second album Unstable in 2003. According to Adema's drummer Kris Kohls, Mark and Ransom were not on good terms during the production of Unstable. The two had not spoken to each other for the entire year and they were at each other's throats. The band was caught in between the middle of their arguments. Following a fallout, Ransom quit the band in fall 2003 during the "Unstable" promo tour. He was then the touring guitarist for the band Scum of the Earth. He has stated that he is currently working on forming a new band in the L.A. area, along with the former singer of the disbanded L.A. rock band Rumblefish, Mike Ryan. Ransom currently resides in West Hollywood, Los Angeles.
