Mike McCormack (Irish writer)

Mike McCormack (born 1965) is an Irish author. He has published a collection of short stories, Getting It In The Head, and two novels - Crowe's Requiem and Notes From A Coma.
Mike McCormack is an established Irish writer whose works include the novels Notes from a Coma, and Crowe's Requiem, as well as a short story collection, Getting it in the Head, which was voted New York Times Book of the Year and for which he received the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature. He was born in London in 1965, but grew up in Mayo. He currently lives in Galway where he teaches creative writing at the National University of Ireland.
