Mike Libby is a contemporary American artist who created the Insect Lab. Within this lab, he combines genuine insects and mechanical or electronical components, in order to create cybernetic sculptures.

He graduated with a degree in sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1999. He has since attended the Vermont Studio Center.

Libby exhibits in many solo and group exhibitions in places such as New York, Rhode Island and Maine.
