Mike Koreen

Mike Koreen (born June 29, 1980) is a sports columnist covering the Toronto Raptors basketball team for The Toronto Sun. Prior to covering the Raptors, Koreen won the 2005 Tom Borrelli Award as the top writer covering the National Lacrosse League. He also won the 2002 Sports Media Canada Nike Bursary as the top student sports journalist in Canada in his final year at Ryerson University in Toronto.
Koreen started working at the Sun as a co-op student from Thornlea Secondary School.
He is now working at York University. He enjoys squash, skiing with his girlfriend, and turkey.
