Michael Ray Jackson (born December 22, 1964 in Houston, Texas) is a former Major League Baseball relief pitcher who played from 1986 to 2004. Jackson played with the Philadelphia Phillies, San Francisco Giants, Cincinnati Reds and Houston Astros all of the National League and the Seattle Mariners, Cleveland Indians, Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox all of the American League.
Jackson's best year in the majors was in 1998 with the Indians, saving 40 games with a 1.55 earned run average.
Jackson is tied with Paul Assenmacher for most games pitched in the 1990s (644).
