Mike Haridopolos is a Republican member of the Florida Senate, representing the 26th District since a special election in March 2003, serving as Majority Whip since 2006. His District currently includes parts of Brevard, Indian River, St. Lucie and Osceola Counties in Eastern Florida. His current legislative assistants of Haridopolos are Lori Scott, Nancy Bernier, and Katherine Halley, with Terri Bevers as a secretary.
Previously Haridopolos was a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 2001 through 2003. He has been a history professor and department chairman at Brevard Community College in Melbourne, Florida since 1993 and has co-authored a book.
