Mike “Goose” Gosselin is a former U.S. soccer defender who earned one cap with the U.S. national team in 1992.

Gosselin attended the University of South Carolina where he played on the men’s soccer team from 1987 to 1990.

Gosselin spent at least the 1991-1993 seasons with the Canton Invaders of the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL). He then switched between several teams over the next several years. He was with the Dayton Dynamo for the 1994-1995 season and two teams, the Buffalo Blizzard and Cincinnati Silverbacks for the 1995-1996 season.

Gosselin signed with the Columbia Spirit of the USISL in 1993. In 1994, he moved to the Greensboro Dynamo, winning the USISL championship that season. He remained with the Dynamo until at least 1996. In 1998, he played with the Raleigh Flyers.

Gosselin earned his lone cap with the U.S. national team in a 2-0 win over Canada on September 3, 1992. He came on for John DeBrito in the 78th minute.[1]
