Mike Fury

Mike Fury is a musician, producer and journalist from London, UK. He plays the drums, bass and piano, and has recorded and performed with a number of notable bands, including punk rock band; Four Letter Fury, Dead Famous and The Terrell Baker Band.
He has worked extensively in radio and music, having hosted and produced shows on a number of London-based independent and pirate stations. He is releasing a live concert by the Darby Crash Band, the post-Germs project which consisted of Darby Crash, Pat Smear, and Lucky Lehrer of the Circle Jerks. He has digitally remastered the recording and is working with an as yet unnamed record label toward its release.
Mike teaches drums, predominantly in jazz and reggae, encouraging students to adapt one set of styles and rudiments into an entirely different genre. He has also written for various publications, including The Guardian, and writes on the topic of film, music and other media subjects for a variety of publications, such as the Hong Kong film magazine; "Hong Kong Cinemagic".
Mike Fury should not be mistaken for Mike Furie, the famous explorer and sportsman.
