Mike Erlandson

Mike Erlandson Vice President Government Affairs Supervalu. Prior to joining SUPERVALU Erlandson served as Chief of Staff to US Congressman Martin Olav Sabo (MN5) from 1993 to 2006 when Sabo retired. Erlandson ran for Sabo's seat, but finished second in a contested primary to Keith Ellison who went on to win in November. Erlandson also Chaired the State Democratic Party of Minnesota, the DFL, from 1999-2005.

In addition to leading SUPERVALU's Government Affairs Department Erlandson is their federal political action committee, ValuPAC, Chairman, serves on their foundation board and is a member of their environmental stewardship council.

Erlandson, who grew up in the Twin Cities suburb of Fridley, is married, has two children and lives in Minneapolis. Erlandson hosted a Radio Show on Air American Minnesota, the Mike Erlandosn Show and was a regular on local public affairs programs before joining SUPERVALU. He is a graduate of St. John's University in Collegeville Minneoata and Harvard's Kennedy School's Senior Managers in Government Program.
