Mike Cross

Mike Cross (born 1946, Maryville, Tennessee) is an American singer, guitar and fiddle player.
Cross took up guitar during his college years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His music blends several styles, from singer-songwriter to acoustic blues to humorous novelty songs. Although best known for his comedic tunes such as "The Scotsman" and "The Drunkard," Cross' repertoire has more to offer. He is a dedicated touring performer, bringing his musical stylings and wit to venues and private functions across the nation, as a self-proclaimed "wandering hillbilly hippie folk singer."
The bulk of Cross' work has been released on the North Carolina based Sugar Hill Records (not to be confused with the rap record label).
