Mike Cooper (broadcaster)

Mike S. Cooper is a Canadian radio personality, with Erin Davis hosting the 98.1 CHFI morning show.
Cooper was born in Hamilton, Ontario and was the lead morning host at CHFI's adult contemporary competitor CJEZ until 2005. [1]
He was an announcer at 1050 CHUM from 1974 to 1976. During this period, he set the world record for riding a Ferris Wheel during the Canadian National Exhibition. From 1976 to 1978 Cooper was a broadcaster at Montreal's CKGM. He was also DJed for CFTR, then a hit station from 1978 to 1988. From 1987 to 1991 Cooper was with CKEY, then to both CHEX and CKWF The Wolf in Peterborough, Ontario from 1991 to 1992. He return to his home town of Hamilton to CHAM from 1993 to 1995 before going to CJEZ in Toronto.
He was the creator of the 5:10 "Stupid joke of the day" during his time at 680 CFTR
