Mike Conte

Mike Conte is the lead singer, guitarist, and bassist for the 2-piece Brooklyn, NY heavy metal band Early Man (band). He is 32 years old. On the Early Man website, he also has started an Internet show, called "The Early Mike Show." It has 3 episodes to date; one of which saw him auction his 4-year-old Kreator shirt on EBay, which was quickly snapped up.

Like countless other heavy metal singers, Conte is largely influenced by Black Sabbath's Ozzy Osbourne and Judas Priest's Rob Halford. While he resembles these vocalists, he sings in his own style.

Conte's guitar/bass playing has influence from Judas Priest as well; this can be heard on Early Man's speed metal songs. He also plays slow & heavy on certain songs, like on "Death Is The Answer."

Conte is also a composer for film/television.
