Mike Brkovich

Mike Brkovich was a Canadian basketball player from Windsor, Ontario. Of Serbian background, Brkovich was a member of the Canadian national basketball team and played NCAA with the Michigan State Spartans. He was drafted 181st overall (8th round) by the Milwaukee Bucks back in 1981.

During the 1978-79 season. The Spartans won the NCAA crown over undefeated Indiana State - which featured future Hall of Famer, Larry Bird. Michigan, at this time, had arguably one of the top "Fabulous Five" of all-time. Led by Magic Johnson F, Greg Kelser F, Jay Vincent C, Terry Donnelly G and of course, Brkovich G.
