Bellotti's record at the University of Oregon stands at 105-50, he holds the school record for most wins as a head coach.[citation needed] He is also the only coach in school history to have three 10 win seasons (2000, 2001, 2005) . Having victories in the Fiesta Bowl, Holiday Bowl, Sun Bowl (twice), and Las Vegas Bowl, Bellotti has more post-season victories than any football coach in Oregon history. His latest bowl victory, however, the 2007-08 Sun Bowl against South Florida, broke a previous four game bowl losing streak.

Coach Bellotti also lead Oregon to a regular season #2 ranking in the 2007-08 season.[1]. He led Oregon to beat (preseason ranked #5, but at the time unranked) Michigan 39-7. Oregon also beat out #12 USC and #4 Arizona State under Coach Bellotti's leadership in the same year. After losing star quarterback Dennis Dixon Oregon lost to unranked Arizona, was shutout by unranked UCLA, and was defeated at home against Oregon State University in the Civil War. Then proceeded to win the Sun Bowl.
