Michael James Bailey[1] (born April 6, 1988) is an English actor from Bristol best known for playing the role of Sid Jenkins in British teen drama Skins, although his character will not appear after its current series.

Before he started acting, he attended Downend Comprehensive School but is currently studying Performing Arts in Bristol.

There was much publicity given to him when he worked at Topman. After the filming of the first series of Skins, a radio station found out where he was working, and asked people to go there and take photos of him. He was given the rest of the day off.

Bailey has presented the award for "Best solo artist" with his Skins co-star Hannah Murray at the 2007 NME Music Awards.

In the Skins series 1 finale he performed the lead role in a group musical ensemble version of "Wild World" by Cat Stevens.
