Mike F. Ahearn was the tenth head football coach for the Kansas State Wildcats in Manhattan, Kansas and he held that position for six seasons, from 1905 until 1910. His overall coaching record at Kansas State was 39 wins, 12 losses, and 0 ties. This ranks him second at Kansas State in terms of total wins and first at Kansas State in terms of winning percentage.[1]
Kansas State has honored the memory of Ahearn with the Ahearn Field House facility. Over the years Ahearn served Kansas State in a variety of roles that included coach, professor, Head of the Department of Physical Education, and Director of Athletics.
