Mike's Super Short Show (also known as Super Short Show in some countries) was a two-minute promotional segment starring Michael Alan Johnson and Alyson Stoner that promoted upcoming Disney DVDs through clips and interviews with the stars. It aired on Disney Channel and Toon Disney in various time slots from January 2002 until December 2006. It was cancelled in January 2007 to make way for Disney's Really Short Report.

[edit] Characters

  • Mike Johnson (Michael A. Johnson) served as the host and primary interviewer on the show.
  • Sally Johnson (Alyson Stoner) was Mike's sister and served as the co-host. On occasion, she would host the show herself, with the show retitled "Sally's Super Short Show" but she rarely did this.
  • Scooter was the name of their dog on the show who makes occasional appearances. He is also shown in the opening photo montage.
  • "Dad" was in two episodes, but his face was continually obscured by various objects, including a monkey suit.
  • "Mom" has been referred to as the camera woman in some episodes. She appeared in a cooking episode with a white long sleeve shirt, khaki pants, green top, and green, curly hair.
  • Occasionally, a cast member of the movie the two were promoting would have a guest appearance on the show.
