Mikael Colville-Andersen born (January 29th, 1968). Writer/director.
His debut feature, Zakka West at the Internet Movie Database (2003), premiered at the Copenhagen International Film Festival. It represents one of the few examples of independent film film to come out of Denmark.
He has written and directed several short films, including the award-winning short Breaking Up in 1999 and founded the first pan-European organisation for screenwriters: Euroscreenwritersin 1997.
His won the prestigious Prix Italia award at the 57th Prix Italia for Best Website. The Hans Christian Andersen Bicentenary Website was produced for The Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR)
