Miju Mishmi, also known as Kaman, is one of the three sub-tribes of the Mishmi of Arunachal Pradesh, and members of this tribe inhabit within Anjaw district, formerly a part of Lohit. The Mijus practice shifting agriculture, also known as Jhum, owing to enviromental conditions around them. The Miju are followers of Donyi Polo,[1] although sections of the Miju have co-adopted Tibetan Buddhism.[2][3]
