[edit] Summary

The MIHAN project is an ambitious attempt by the Maharashtra government to develop the economically backward Vidarbha province. The project will make Nagpur a prominent location on India's aviation map. In addition to a world-class international airport, the complex includes a captive power-plant, a health city consisting of super-specialty hospitals, an international school, and a railway terminal.
