Should this be moved to Miguel Asín Y Palacios? Cheers, Gpjt 00:48, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

Or, indeed, Miguel Asín y Palacios as per User:Deor's comment here?
(1) The name Miguel Asín Palacios is the Spanish name, the name in fact that was used during his lifetime by the real life person so named, the subject of this page. In English, in French, and in Italian, the same. I can only conjecture that because in Latin the conjunction "et" (meaning in English "and") was placed between the two last names Asín & Palacios, this constructon somehow got (mis)translated into the capital "Y" which is a horrible disfigurement. In Spanish the small "y" (meaning in English "and") is sometimes found between last names, but not always; in Asín's case it was definitely not. Elfelix 19:55, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

(2) How come the footnotes do not show up at the bottom of the page? Elfelix 19:55, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
