Miguel Lorenzo Villanueva (born July, 1990 in Bacolod City, Philippines) is a professional swimmer from the Philippines, who held the title as WVRAA meet most bemedalled swimmer.

Miguel, a member of the victorious 4x100-m medley quartet, triumphed in the 100-m back in the WVRPSC (1: 08.81) but settled for the silver in the 100-m fly won by Bago City's Raffy Hechanova (1:03.71). He participated Pilipinas Youth Swimming Cup held in Dumaguete City and snatchedis golds in the 200-m IM (2:28.91), 800-m free (10:01.38), 200-m back (2:36.14), 400-m free (4:48.19) and 100-m back (1:08.22) event in the boys' 16 years old division.
Miguel is a 2005 NOPSSCEA gold medal winner. He boosted Sta. Fe's bid after claiming eight golds, one silver and one bronze in the boys' in the 1st Binirayan National Invitational Swimming Competition 15-17 bracket.

Miguel is currently studying in the University of St. Lasalle-Integrated School, Bacolod City. He is in his senior year in high school and enjoys not only swimming but also basketball in his free time.
