Miguel Angel Pinto Jerez (born July 4, 1983) is a Chilean goalkeeper, who currently plays for Universidad de Chile. Pinto's nickname is "Teñe." His professional debut came in 2004. In the 2006 apertura tournament in Chile, Pinto became a regular with the first team.

He came to the "U" from its youth system. Pinto's debut came in 2003 when he was the club's third goalkeeper. The first team goalkeeper was injured and replaced. Then the second team goalkeeper was ejected, throwing Pinto into action against none other than Universidad de Chile's biggest rival, Colo-Colo. He kept them scoreless for the rest of the match. In the 2004 and 2005 season he was the substitute for Johnny Herrera. In 2006 when Herrera was transferred to Corinthians, he became the first team goalkeeper. Despite having been criticized for some mistakes in his play, he has performed regularly in 2006 and 2007, most notably in the "derbies" against Colo Colo in 2007. He is known for his unique jersery designs.

He is not the backup for Real Sociedad's Claudio Bravo in the Chilean National Team.
