Miguel Gonçalves (Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: Migel Gonsalvis, Fogo Crioulo (Djarfogo): Miguel Gonsalves), is a village located approximately 10 km east of the island capital of Sao Filipe in the island of Fogo, Cape Verde. Miguel Gonçalves is linked with another road linking to Coxo and Cova Figueira and another road connecting with the island capital.

The area around Miguel Gonçalves contains farmlands that partly extends up to 400 to 600 m above sea level and are in the southwestern and the central parts, the Chã das Caldeiras is to the northeast and features grasslands, rocks and ledges, and bushes. The living standards are in the low range as well as its income. One time, there was no money until the late-20th century. The village is in the island's low class. Every house is built with mud-brick and stone. All of its population are farmers and are based in agriculture where banana plantations, pineapple, and other crops are common. However, a part of the needy material comes from the island capital and the diaspora. But for other needs, electricity, communications, and appliances are partially available in the area as well as phone lines since the mid to late-20th century.
