Migration Letters is an international academic journal of migration studies published since 2004.

Migration Letters is a biannual international peer reviewed journal on migration issues with an interdisciplinary perspective.^[1] The breadth of topics ranges from internal migration to transnational mobility and from voluntary to forced migration. Original research papers from related disciplines are considered for publication. Papers can be theoretical, empirical, applied or policy oriented. Case studies, essays, comments and book reviews are also welcome.

Migration Letters is believed to fill a significant gap in migration studies as a double-blind refereed letter-type journal publishing short accounts of new original research. It aims to disseminate valuable research among academics, policy makers, and practitioners in the field of migration. Thus, being the only letter-type journal on migration, the likely subscribers are universities, research institutions, funding organisation, governmental and non-governmental national and international agencies, support groups and individuals.

Migration Letters is published twice a year in April and October.^[2] Migration Letter is an open access online journal and print copies are provided by on-demand publisher Lulu.
