Miglos is a village and commune in the Ariège département in southern France. It is located in the former High Ariege in the High County Foix, called Sabarthès.
The valley opens on the northwest Vicdessos valley at Capoulet, south it s'arrondit to form a large bowl. The valley is an average altitude of 810 meters.
The limits of the Barony under the former regime were almost the same as those of today. During the revolutionary period the municipality did not split, and escaped fragmentation. Probably because of its size and its geographical uniformity.
