Migdal Oz (Hebrew: מגדל עוז, lit. Tower of Strength) is a kibbutz and Israeli settlement in the historic Etzion bloc, within the jurisdiction of the Gush Etzion Regional Council.
The kibbutz was established in 1977 on the site Migdal Eder, a Jewish village destroyed 50 years previous in the course of the early Arab-Israeli conflict.
Migdal Oz is a member of the religiously observant Religious Kibbutz Movement, and is home to approximately 260 residents. The commune's main agricultural pursuits include three chicken coops with 16,000 birds apiece, a dairy housing 260 cows that is among the largest in the country, and local fruit orchards. Along with the two neighbouring kibbutzim of Gush Etzion, Rosh Tzurim and Kfar Etzion, Migdal Oz jointly farms 6,000 dunam of olive grove near Kiryat Malakhi and Lachish in the Shephelah.
The kibbutz is also home to some high tech and light industry. The eponymous Migdal Oz seminary, an advanced women's yeshiva, was opened in 1997.
