[edit] Mig33 room administrators
In order to avoid abusing in rooms e.g. Flood & Slangs mig33 staffs introduces "room administrators". At first mig33 staffs choose administrators randomly. But later on they only appoints administrators under the recommendation of old administrators. Room administrators are also known as "admin". mig33 team also introduced "admin controller" the person who controls all the other administrators. The first and still on going admin controller is tareq263.
[edit] Mig33 room administrators corruption
The recent and the biggest problem of mig33 is now turn to be the mig33 room administrators. It is found that admins and their friends as well as their relatives threats and terrorise chatters throughout the mig33,many are found to be praising admins just to achieve the same "admin" power.
Moreover, several mig33 administrators are found kicking chatters five to ten times at the same time with the help of the emulator so that the chatter's id get banned. Unfortunately, mig33 staffs are not solving this criteria and so the popularity of mig33 is in grave danger. Administrators like camhe22, rax_power, ask_vinay, enstine, aden13 and even admin controller tareq263 was found guilty of such activities.
[edit] Mig33 exploits
Mig33 has several logical exploits that are rather difficult to prevent, given the fact that Mig33 is designed for mobile phones and the general idea is that one user will be running only one instance of the Mig33 application at any given moment, however users running Mig33 from PCs or other devices that can run multiple applications at once find it easy to discover exploits/flaws that enable to do things that wouldn't normally be possible while running Mig33 on a standard mobile device. These exploits/flaws include:
Backwriting - Adding special characters to messages in Mig33 that alter the visual appearance of the text. This can only be done on PCs, which have a broader range of usable characters, e.g. ̉̉̉̉̉̉̉̉̉̉ỵ̣̣̉̉ọ̣̣̉̉̉̉̉ủ̉̉̉̉ṛ̣̣̣̉ṭ̣̣̣̉̉̉̉̉̉̉̉̉̉̉ẻ̉̉̉̉̉̉x̉̉̉t which, displayed on a mobile phone looks like art work.
Multi Kick - In order to keep chat rooms free of abusive users, Mig33 has a voting system similar to those found in online PC and Console games that allow users to initiate and cast votes against abusive users in a chat room. If the abusive user gets enough votes against him/her (9 are needed), he gets kicked out of the chat room and is unable to re-enter for a period of approximately 15 minutes. Users with PCs or mobile devices that support multi-tasking or running of multiple instances of e multi-kick (also known as back-door kicking). Because 9 votes are needed to kick a user out of a chat room, you can log onto Mig33 with 9 different accounts, enter a room and use all the 9 accounts to kick out any user.
The multi-kick has since lost its level of popularity since the introduction of Mig33 version 3.0, which fixed the flaw that allowed users to use multi-kicking with ease.
