[edit] Invitation to join Wikipedia:WikiProject Guitarists

Hi! I noticed your recent edits on the Les Paul article and the new Black Beauty article(first player I ever saw with one was Keith Richards...if you're want to add another notable user to the list). Just wondering if you are familiar with the Wikipedia:WikiProject Guitarists? We are a group of editors dedicated to any/all guitar/guitarist related articles(that includes bass/bassist too) Feel free to stop by the project page for a visit. Your participation would be welcome. Cheers! Anger22 01:34, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to WikiProject Guitarists!

Hey there, thanks for signing up. We are dedicated to improving all guitarist articles, including bass guitarists and all genres. We also work on guitar equipment articles. Check out our main project page and see the to-do list for places to get started. Welcome! --Aguerriero (talk) 04:27, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Guitarist templates

I noticed you added the project template to the Robert Johnson article. Just wanted to let you know the project templates are to be used on the talk pages and not on the main articles themselves. In the Robert Johnson case, the article had already been tagged and classed as a "B". I rm'd the template from the main article body. If you have any questions regarding the project, don't hesitate to ask. Cheers! Anger22 14:01, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] re: Gibson Les Paul Black Beauty

I have been working on improving the List of Gibson players article.(trying to elevate to Featured status as we did with the List of Telecaster players. Part of the process is to remove the "notable users" list from the individual model articles and leave a link back to the "Gibson player" list. aAnd then add the names and the Gibsons they used most frequently....with references. Since you were the creator of the Black Beauty article I didn't want to do such a drastic move without letting you know why. As with the other model "notable lists"...they are copied to a temporary location on the main list's talk page so that they won't be forgotten. Anyways, just keeping you up to date on some Guitarist Project activities. Cheers and take care! Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 17:21, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

The whole idea, like the Tele list, is to make it strict and cited to avoid any "played one for 5 minutes" POV entries that include every "Jim, Jimmy n Jimi" who ever touched a Gibson. If you have any valid references to add to the list...by all means...the more the better. Cheers! Anger22 (Talk 2 22) 03:43, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AfD Nomination: CSTC Cold Lake

An editor has nominated the article CSTC Cold Lake for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/CSTC Greenwood. Add four tildes like this ~~~~ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article CSTC Cold Lake during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Jayden54Bot 20:39, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
